Travel With BE To Elora Quarry

One thing that I have to say would be the BIGGEST down fall in Toronto is the lack of beaches and the beaches in general. Coming from a land down under I think any one else that is would agree that the ocean is our sister and the most beautiful natural existence to all man kind. So in saying that.... yeah, I miss my Aussie beaches, but on this beautiful fine day the 15th of June 2018, my whole outlook of Toronto changed a little as Mikk and I went on a road trip about an hour northwest of Toronto in between the quaint towns of Fergus and Elora to visit the breath taking abandoned "old swimming hole" of Elora Quarry.

The centre of attention is the 0.8 ha (two acre) limestone quarry encircled by sheer cliffs up to 12 metres (40 feet) high. The tree-covered park has places to picnic and enjoying nature. There is one main section of the park to cliff jump off along with beautiful WHITE SAND, just like Australia and a narrow cave that has fresh freezing cold water dripping from the top of the rocks! As well as that some may dare to jump off the extremely tall Sheer Cliff surrounding the quarry, which is 12 metres high (NOTE: You will get kicked out if you jump off this).
